Tracy Ellis, MBA, then policy advisor to the U.S. Virgin Islands Commissioner of Tourism, helped to launch the University of Chicago Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care’s first off-shore CME meeting. Uof C’s meeting was an immediate success and continued to thrive for many years. She oversees meeting planning, logistics, registration, as well as participant certification and overall guest experience. In the course of her career, Tracy has also created and delivered professional development and mission-driven events for trade associations (American Bar Association, American Council for Capital Formation) and media companies (PBS Kids, E! Entertainment Television, Lifetime).
